Dr. Joseph Bryant is a retired Associate Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine Department of Pathology.
He is the former director of the Animal Core Facility in the Institute of Human Virology.
Dr. Bryant has worked at the National Institute of Dental Research, North Carolina A&T University, and the Tuskegee Institute of Veterinary Medicine prior to coming to the University of Maryland.
He has degrees from the Tennessee State University, Tuskegee University, and the University of Missouri. He is also a former Captain in the United States Army and has 11 patents from his research into human chorionic gonadotropin and HIV.
